chemiluminescence:

And after much waiting, I present…

Eli.

He’s the one on the right for both pictures.  I get to take him home as early as next week <3  I’m so excited!

((The reason why I’ve been so out of it and away from Trucy lately is because of this dude right here.

The right puppy <3 He’s mine :3

Lots of work selling the house and such too.  Nonetheless, I’m very excited <3

CHOOOOOOOO, HERE’S ELI!))

Oh dear…

My phone went through the wasagain. There goes another how many bucks out of my paycheck!

On the bright side, at least the replacement was rather cheap, so I’m pretty happy. Now if only I could afford unlimited texting…

—Seeing Trucy standing on her tippy toes to look at something, Cho followed suit, trying her best to look at whatever the young girl was looking at.  And soon enough, her vision was met with a thousand points of light.  A soft, gasp of awe escaped her lips.—

—When Trucy took her hand, Cho gave it a little squeeze and followed after her.  It was rather bright, causing the young lady to squint a little bit.  However, once her vision adjusted to the light, Cho saw the abundance of pretty crystals.  Squinting her eyes and with a delighted giggle, she stood near one of the crystals, reaching out a finger to poke them.  But then, realizing that they were a bit too bright, she covered her eyes and tried to find her way back to Trucy.—

—Unfortunately, because she couldn’t really see, she ended up bumping into the young girl.  Another surprised squeak escaped her.—

[Trucy was still shielding her eyes when she felt someone bump into her.  Having to balance herself a little as she still tried to shield her eyes, although she failed.  In fact, she ended up flailing and falling flat on her tush as her hand was moved from her face and she was entirely blinded for the first time.  Closing her eyes automatically at the harshness, Trucy made her way standing before shielding her eyes again.

If only there was a sunglasses stand.

Looking a little further down the path, she saw it.  A collection of funny-looking sunglasses sitting sky-high in a large bin.  They looked kind of futuristic, since they completely wrapped around the head.  But making a quick dash for the bin, she managed to scoop up two (which she then realized were not free, but it wasn’t like anyone was manning the shop) and dashing back to give a pair of the odd-looking sunglasses to Cho before putting hers on.  Once she put them on, it was a lot more bearable.

And a lot more surprising.

The glasses not only softened the bright lighting, but helped emphasize the crystals.  Each formation, each line within the crystal was highly defined.  Moving to one crystal, Trucy felt like she was gazing through a microscope. Not wanting to talk, Trucy turned to Cho and waved a hand to her to get her attention before beckoning to the large assortment of crystals that were available to be studied.]

((Please forgive me for suddenly disappearing over the long weekend.

It was partially due to having two open houses during the weekend and a lot of easter gatherings.

But it was also partially because of this thing in the pictures.

A WIP, complete, and close-up anyways.

Anyways, the painting was inspired by Drops of Jupiter - Train

‘…with drops of Jupiter in her hair…’

(Yes, the circles in the blue section is supposed to be Jupiter. My painting skills suck when it comes to little details okay)

Anyways, forgive me!  I shall start replying more frequently throughout this week!))

—The young lady squeaked in surprise when she heard the loud toot from the shell.  Who knew that the shell could make both a calming and an energetic sound!  Cho giggled and fluttered her hands at her side, very amused by that discovery.  When Trucy gave back the shell to her, Cho examined it again.  And then, she brought it to her lips and tried to copy the horn sound.—

—All that happened was a strained, muffled noise.—

—Out of breath, Cho inhaled deeply a tiny frown on her face.  But then, deciding that she probably wouldn’t be able to make the noise, she made another squeak and set the shell back down where it was.  Then, turning to Trucy, she looked at her with a smile and poked her arm, wondering what they could explore next.—

[Trucy laughed, watching Cho attempt to make a sound from the horn like she had with amusing results.  Watching her place the shell back delicately, Trucy looked around to see what else this new area held in store for them.  It was only after standing on her tippy toes did she see it.  A distance away, there was another path.  But it was covered in light.  No….

It was covered in many multi-faceted crystals.

The sunlight danced off each jewel and radiated rainbows so dazzling it was almost blinding.  Taking Cho’s hand, she pulled slightly to show the path before running there herself. She stopped right at the edge of the crystal path and shielded her eyes.]

This sure is….bright…

[Looking around, Trucy half-wished that there was someone selling sunglasses nearby.]

Darn, I hate being sick.

I’ve got a high fever and a major headache right now.  I need some help from medicine or something, or else I’m going to be like this for a very long time…

cho-thelittlebutterfly:

—Cho slowly took the conch shell from Trucy, taking care not to drop it.  Eyes brightened with childish curiosity as she examined it, flipped it around, ran her fingers over it.  It was so pretty, so pink.  But where did it come from?  Why was it here?  And from Trucy’s tone of voice and expression, Cho had noticed that the young girl was as puzzled as she was.

—The young lady continued to flip it around, taking note of the opening that the shell had.  At first, she brought it up to her eyes so she could peer inside.  However, she couldn’t really see anything.  But, just then, a random thought to her occurred.  Slowly, Cho brought the conch’s opening to her ear.  And a gasped quickly escaped her.  What she heard amazed her.—

—Cho didn’t know this sound, but it was the sound of the ocean.—

—Pulling it away from her ear, the young lady giggled and offered the shell back to Trucy, wanting her to hear the sound, too.—

[Trucy watched Cho as she examined the shell with a bewilderment that made her smile.  Watching her place the shell to her ear, Trucy took the shell for Cho and placed it next to her own ear, already knowing what to expect.  The rush of waves filled the air next to her right ear where the shell was placed.  Smiling, Trucy moved the shell away and held it in front of her.]

They always did say that you could hear the sound of the ocean when you put a shell to your ear.  But I bet you didn’t know you could do this.

[Placing the shell to her lips, Trucy blew into it as it gave off a sound similar to a horn.  Beaming, Trucy gave the shell back to Cho.]

Pretty cool, right?

Trucy, don’t use Phoenix Wright’s catchphrase!

(You’re not even his fan!)

You’re kidding, the last time you cook I needed to rest for 3 days. Mr.Proto Badger? Mr.Eldoon? Never heard of them.

(Why do she have friends with such weird names? I worry about her.)

Yeah, ever since I came here you’re the only familiar face I see.

Really?  That’s odd… Mr. Eldoon should be a familiar name, at the least.

In that case, you should try my cooking one day.  It’s completely tasty and edible, I swear.

I thought Daddy would be familiar to you, at the very least.  There’s a lot of him running around.

You can, but you don’t do it right! Your cooking tastes like burnt rubber.

Who’s that Mr.Eldoon? He’s not a bad person, right? But even if someone checked up on you, it’ll still be lonely if you live alone, how can I be not worried?

(And What do you mean by friends, you don’t have friends! ….my Trucy don’t, anyway.)

I’m staying with you, we live together in a apartment.

HOLD IT!

I can cook perfectly well, thank you.  I got lessons from Mr. Proto Badger beforehand, and I can bake too!  And Mr. Eldoon is the guy who runs the noodle stand!  C’mon Polly, surely you should know him.

And it’s good you’re staying with me.  Least there are some familiar faces for you.

cho-thelittlebutterfly:

—Cho giggled as she heard the wind chimes, as the notes graced the air.  Trying her very best to match the floating, airy grace of the notes, the young lady fluttered her hands at her sides and ran by the poles, weaving through them.  She didn’t run too far, though.  And soon, the melodic chimes eventually faded and the young lady’s movements along with them.—

—She stayed in place, watching as Trucy ran back over to her, and gave the young girl a smile and a giggle.  But just then, something else had caught Cho’s attention.  The young lady tried her best to focus her gaze on the object.  And yet, it was quite a ways away.  Sitting by the very last pole farthest from them… was a large shell.  A conch shell.  Cho had never seen anything like it.  With a small hum, she tugged on Trucy’s shoulder to get her attention and pointed at the shell.—

—Cho then took just a few steps forward, wanting to see what it was.  She was curious as ever, it seemed.—

[Trucy was still panting when Cho had tugged on her shoulder and pointed to the last pole.  Looking up, Trucy saw she was pointing at some shell that she had failed to notice beforehand.  Finding it peculiar, she walked towards it, turning for a moment to beckon Cho to follow before continuing towards the shell.  Once close up, it was obviously a very large pale pink shell, smooth as silk.  Finding it odd how she hadn’t noticed it beforehand, Trucy touched it tentatively and found that it wasn’t attached to anything.  She carefully lifted the shell towards her face for inspection before giving Cho a puzzled look.]

That’s weird.  Why would a conch shell be here, so far away from the ocean or a beach?

[Still, the pretty conch shell was a curiosity.  Taking the bag with the angel in it from Cho’s grasp, Trucy handed the conch to Cho for her to inspect.]
